Burundi : Weekly Report N° 503 on the human rights situation
This report by SOS-Torture Burundi covers the period from 26 July to 2 August 2025. It documents cases of human rights violations committed on Burundian territory.
During this period, two (2) people were murdered by Imbonerakure in Burunga province.
The report also points to the case of two (2) students who were arbitrarily arrested and detained by the police in the province of Burunga as well as two (2) cases of abduction or enforced disappearance perpetrated by agents of the National Intelligence Service (SNR) in the provinces of Bujumbura and Butanyerera.
